DO YOU KEEP GETTING IN YOUR OWN WAY?
I mean I used to do this all the time and still do if I am not aware of myself. And often they are coming to work with me because they’ve spent YEARS stuck in the very frustrating cycle of:
- REALLY wanting a thing (weight loss, no bloating, better energy, healthier skin - whatever)
- BUT they know their behaviour is creating the opposite.
For example, you really want more energy, you really really do. But your habit is to binge on refined sugar, which means you have less energy.
And if we don’t realise it - MOST of us do this and then we blame ourselves for being stuck and not seeing results (??!!)

I should maybe preface this whole conversation by saying I NEVER smoked anything in my entire life. I used to work with drug addicts closely and have generally been a tee-total, ‘just say no to drugs’ kinda gal. Even marijuana (and I also HATE the smell of it - yuck!).
Until recently, when I started using CBD oil.
And after a few years of being very wary/disinterested, I finally wrestled with some of the research and gave it a try.

This is a topic I have been VERY resistant to talk about (cos hello I am no expert!) BUT it is also something I have been asked about a lot. An awful lot!
So think of this as a bit of Q&A - or more accurately said - question & response.
Yes, I share with you my personal decisions but more importantly the goal is to give you a framework to make your own empowered medical decisions. I don't care what you do or don't do but I do care about you showing up and making informed, empowered, decisions. Decisions that feel right for you and your body.
It's not my job to tell you what those decisions are - so I am sharing with you how I personally make medical decisions for myself (and my children).
I know this is a hot topic so be open, be kind, and know that unless you are a psychopath - we can all agree that the end goal is people being alive and well ;)
