HOW DO YOU WORK ON YOUR BELLY, ENERGY HORMONES WHEN YOU ARE TOO BUSY CARING EVERYONE ELSE? WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE TOO TIRED TO TO EVEN TRY TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH?
This is a question that comes up a lot with clients. People are coming to be exhausted, tired, DONE. They know they maybe need to tackle the diet and run some labs but they have no energy too!!
Vicious circle - no?
That is the position this week's case study client was in. She was burnt out looking after everyone around her but her energy had crashed. She knew a lot about what to eat and healthy eating but was just too tired to implement anything. She knew she needed support and that she wanted to do something sustainable and knew that editing didnt work (she'd tried in the past!)
But she wanted more energy. She wanted to lose some body fat without editing or harshness.
So that's what we did and in this week's podcast episode it's a LIVE recording with this client as we review her progress after her personalised program.
We talk about emotional eating, how our thoughts impact our habits and how to shift that final chunk of weight she would like to release.†

DO YOU KEEP GETTING IN YOUR OWN WAY?
I mean I used to do this all the time and still do if I am not aware of myself. And often they are coming to work with me because they’ve spent YEARS stuck in the very frustrating cycle of:
- REALLY wanting a thing (weight loss, no bloating, better energy, healthier skin - whatever)
- BUT they know their behaviour is creating the opposite.
For example, you really want more energy, you really really do. But your habit is to binge on refined sugar, which means you have less energy.
And if we don’t realise it - MOST of us do this and then we blame ourselves for being stuck and not seeing results (??!!)

I should maybe preface this whole conversation by saying I NEVER smoked anything in my entire life. I used to work with drug addicts closely and have generally been a tee-total, ‘just say no to drugs’ kinda gal. Even marijuana (and I also HATE the smell of it - yuck!).
Until recently, when I started using CBD oil.
And after a few years of being very wary/disinterested, I finally wrestled with some of the research and gave it a try.
