I cannot tell you the number of times that clients have said to me a consultation 'but Kezia I don't feel that stressed'.
This is often when I have gone away and done my research and done some detective work about what is going on with their health and for so many women (and men - I have male clients too...just not as many!) stress is a foundational piece.
But maybe you don't FEEL stressed. You don't feel that emotion or aren't reacting or in the corner crying and having an obvious outburst.
That doesn't mean you're not stressed...it might just mean that it's become your normal!
And this podcast is SUCH an essential one as I talk about why stress is NOT a feeling - its a biochemical response and that is what we need to be aware of.

'I tried it and it didn't work.'
This is a phrase that I hear often when it comes to my online nutrition practice, clients will tell me that they've tried ditching dairy/sugar/wheat/gluten/whatever and it's not helped their IBS/PCOS/weight/energy. And sometimes this is 100% the case - food intolerances aren't the be-all and end-all BUT they are often important.
And after further investigation, it turns out that the client hasn't approached food intolerances in the right way at all. This is something I've been asked about a few times and something I have worked with clients on specifically too. Why? Because long term use of the pill can change our bodies and if you're coming off the pill to make a baby you want to make sure you rectify the potential consequences.
Annnnndddd for many women the main reason for going on the pill was nothing to do with babies but to deal with heavy, painful, crazy, awful periods. But the pill is not a treatment for things like PCOS or heavy periods (it suppresses symptoms though and therefore often very helpful)so coming off the pill requires thought and intention.
And that is what this episode is for - the 3 foundations for coming off the pill smoothly, happily and feeling GOOD!!
